Without a UMD drive, the PSP Go Console will rely on applications being downloaded from the Internet. This will include downloads for games, movies and so much more.
Gamers will be able to access games, movies, trailers and other applications in several ways. First, there is the direct option, in other words, via the PSP Go console itself. Next, access is possible via a PS3 console, for those that have one of course.
Finally, downloads will be possible via users PCs or laptops using the new MediaGo software application. MediaGo will enable users to access and download entertainment content on PlayStation Store using their personal computer, and also allow them to manage their PSP Go content.

Hi I am thinking of ordering the PSP Go console for my son for his Christmas present. Being a single mum, I am a bit nervous about having to down load games, storing of games etc. Any hints?

Just ensure you have up-to-date anti-virus software on your computer and that you only download games from official sources.
